HOUSE LEVITAN This modernist gem was designed by the architect Ronnie Levitan for his brother Brian and his family. The house was built in 1961. Mid-20th century Modernist homes feature flat roofs, light filled open plan living areas, large picture windows onto the natural surroundings, and attention to craftsmanship and detail. House Levitan utilises the slope of the site to create a positive interaction with the street and enable views over the valley to the east and the ridge to the north-east. It has been maintained and cared for to retain its original ambiance and unique character.
